Mary was born on August 26th, 1635 in Dorchester, MA. Mary's father was Thomas Holcombe and her mother was Elizabeth Ferguson. Her paternal grandparents were Gilbert Holcombe and Anne Courtenay; her maternal grandparents were Thomas Ferguson *** and Elizabeth Unknown ***. She had five brothers and five sisters, named Benajah (Sgt), Nathaniel (Lt), Joshua, Jinathan, John, Elizabeth, Abigail, Sarah, Deborah and Deborah. She was the second oldest of the eleven children.-
