Walter Thomas Carey 
Walter Thomas was born on December 2nd, 1894 in Heppner, OR. Walter Thomas' father was Elias Kelley (Rolan) Carey and his mother was Armenia Katherine Appleby. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Ballard Carey and Mary Jane Willis; his maternal grandparents were John Smith Appleby and Rachel A. Moore. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Jesse, Frank, Mabel and Rachel Jane. He was the third oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 60 in November 1955.-
