Rachel Jane Carey 
Rachel Jane was born on October 21st, 1895 in Elgin, OR. Rachel Jane's father was Elias Kelley (Rolan) Carey and her mother was Armenia Katherine Appleby. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Ballard Carey and Mary Jane Willis; her maternal grandparents were John Smith Appleby and Rachel A. Moore. She had three brothers and a sister, named Jesse, Walter Thomas, Frank and Mabel. She was the second youngest of the five children. She died at the age of 77 in November 1972.-
