Mary Ann Matthews 
Mary Ann was born on October 10th, 1738 in New Garden, Guilford Co, NC. Mary Ann's father was Walter Matthews and her mother was Mary Mendenhall. Her paternal grandparents were Oliver Matthews and Elizabeth Unknown; her maternal grandparents were John Mendenhall and Susanna Pierson. She had two brothers and a sister, named Oliver, William and Elizabeth. She was the youngest of the four children. She died at the age of 96 on September 26th, 1835 in Highland Co, OH.-
