Hannah was born on July 19th, 1768 in New Garden, Guilford Co, NC. Hannah's father was Thomas Jessup and her mother was Mary Ann Matthews. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Jessup and Rachel Pease; her maternal grandparents were Walter Matthews and Mary Mendenhall. She had a brother named John. She was the younger of the two children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named William and Elizabeth. She died at the age of 79 on September 13th, 1847 in Highland Co, OH.-
