William Willis

William was born on May 25th, 1797. William's father was Joel Willis and his mother was Hannah Jessup. His paternal grandparents were William Willis and Betty Harlan; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Jessup and Mary Ann Matthews. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Jonathan, Jonathan, Achsah, Jesse, Lydia and Ann Jessup. He was the third youngest of the seven children.
