Hammond Williamson 
Hammond was born in 1783 in Tazwell County, Virginia.1 Hammond's father was Alden Sr. Williamson and his mother was Isabelle Thompson. His paternal grandfather was Hugh Williamson; his maternal grandparents were Richard Thompson and Mildred Short. He had three brothers and a sister, named Benjamin, John, Richard and Ann Eva. He was the third oldest of the five children. He had seven half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Alden, Hiram, Solomon, William, Elijah, Elias or Aley, James, Elizabeth "Betsey" and Nancy. He died before 1874 in Anderson, Indiana.1 -
