Elizabeth "Betsey" Williamson

Elizabeth "Betsey" was born on July 16th, 1794 in Mingo, VA (now WV).  Elizabeth "Betsey"'s father was Alden Sr. Williamson and her mother was Mary Elizabeth Jackson.  Her paternal grandfather was Hugh Williamson. She had seven brothers and a sister, named Alden, Hiram, Solomon, William, Elijah, Elias or Aley, James and Nancy.  She was the second oldest of the nine children. She had four half-brothers and a half-sister, named Benjamin, John, Hammond, Richard and Ann Eva.  She died after 1880 in Martin County, KY.

‌Elizabeth "Betsey" were married in a religious ceremony on October 9th, 1810 in Prestonburg, Floyd County, KY.
