Benjamin Williamson 
Benjamin was born in 1779 in Tazwell County, Virginia. Benjamin's father was Alden Sr. Williamson and his mother was Isabelle Thompson. His paternal grandfather was Hugh Williamson; his maternal grandparents were Richard Thompson and Mildred Short. He had three brothers and a sister, named John, Hammond, Richard and Ann Eva. He was the oldest of the five children. He had seven half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Alden, Hiram, Solomon, William, Elijah, Elias or Aley, James, Elizabeth "Betsey" and Nancy. He died at the age of 75 on April 24th, 1854 in Pike County, Kentucky.-
