Rebecca Thompson 
Rebecca was born in 1790 in Russell County, Virginia. Rebecca's father was Richard Thompson and her mother was Mildred Short. Her paternal grandparents were John Thompson and Mary; her maternal grandparents were Thomas Short and Nancy. She had seven brothers and three sisters, named John, Richard A., Samuel, William, Andrew, George, James, Isabelle, Nancy and Margaret. She was the third youngest of the eleven children.-
