Margaret Thompson 
Margaret was born in 1798 in Russell County, Virginia. Margaret's father was Richard Thompson and her mother was Mildred Short. Her paternal grandparents were John Thompson and Mary; her maternal grandparents were Thomas Short and Nancy. She had seven brothers and three sisters, named John, Richard A., Samuel, William, Andrew, George, James, Isabelle, Rebecca and Nancy. She was the youngest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 33 in 1831.-
