Coat Ryals 
Coat was born in 1861 in Al. Coat's father was Lovett Ryals and his mother was Mary Stower. His paternal grandfather was Richardson Ryals; his maternal grandfather was Jackson Stowers. He had four brothers and two sisters, named William H, Richard Bryant, Lovett, John Austin, Edy E and Mary H. He was the youngest of the seven children.
