Melissa Anne Hopwood

Melissa Anne was born in 1858 in Al.  Melissa Anne's father was Doctor Green Hopwood and her mother was Sophronia J. McIntosh.  Her paternal grandparents were John Hopwood and Francis Patterson; her maternal grandparents were Kenneth McIntosh and Matilda McClure. She had two brothers and five sisters, named John Kenneth, Daniel Thomas, Frances M, Mary Jane, Ella Mae S, Margaret Candis and Nancy.  She was the third oldest of the eight children.  She died at the age of 46 in 1904 in Al.
