Daniel Thomas Hopwood

Daniel Thomas was born on September 1st, 1863.  Daniel Thomas' father was Doctor Green Hopwood and his mother was Sophronia J. McIntosh.  His paternal grandparents were John Hopwood and Francis Patterson; his maternal grandparents were Kenneth McIntosh and Matilda McClure. He had a brother and six sisters, named John Kenneth, Frances M, Melissa Anne, Mary Jane, Ella Mae S, Margaret Candis and Nancy.  He was the fourth youngest of the eight children.  He died at the age of 47 on July 26th, 1911.  He was buried in Gatlin Cemetery, Limestone Co., al.
