Margaret Candis Hopwood

Margaret Candis was born on December 16th, 1867.  Margaret Candis' father was Doctor Green Hopwood and her mother was Sophronia J. McIntosh.  Her paternal grandparents were John Hopwood and Francis Patterson; her maternal grandparents were Kenneth McIntosh and Matilda McClure. She had two brothers and five sisters, named John Kenneth, Daniel Thomas, Frances M, Melissa Anne, Mary Jane, Ella Mae S and Nancy.  She was the second youngest of the eight children.  She died at the age of 86 on November 3rd, 1954.  She was buried in Mt Pleasant/Old Scrouge Cemetery, Limes.
