Otis Bowden 
Otis was born before 1900 in Pope County, AR.1 Otis' father was Charles Layfette Bowden. His paternal grandfather was John S. Bowden. He had nine brothers and two sisters, named John S., George Allen, Virgil R., Bill, Clifford H., Emory, Raymond, Frank Olen, Son, Ardena Elizabeth and Minnie May. He was the second youngest of the twelve children. Otis is no longer alive.1
