James Bowden

James was born in 1806 in Oglethorpe, GA/Oglethorpe, Macon Co., GA.¹   James' father was John Bodine. He had thirteen brothers and eight sisters, named William, John S., Jackson J., Charles Went, Wiley F., James Newton, Allen Blanton, James, James, Thomas, Samuel, Oliver Hazard Perry, William Robert, Polly, Feriba\Fariba, Anna, Jane, Lucinda, Elizabeth, Isabella M. and Winny Jane.  He died at the age of 79 in 1885 in Lawrence Co., TN.¹ 

‌James were married in a religious ceremony on March 16th, 1830.¹   He had three biological sons and three biological daughters, named Charles Winston, William S., John, Mollie, Elizabeth S. and Sarah.
