Oliver Hazard Perry Bodine

Oliver Hazard Perry was born on January 22nd, 1819 in , Oglrhrp, GA.¹   Oliver Hazard Perry's father was John Bodine and his mother was Nancy A. Gunnels.  His maternal grandfather was John Gunnels. He had four brothers and three sisters, named James, Thomas, Samuel, William Robert, Elizabeth, Isabella M. and Winny Jane. He had nine half-brothers and five half-sisters, named William, James, John S., Jackson J., Charles Went, Wiley F., James Newton, Allen Blanton, James, Polly, Feriba\Fariba, Anna, Jane and Lucinda.  He died at the age of 70 on August 20th, 1889 in San Augustin, San Augustin, TX.¹
