Anna Dilley 
Anna was born in 1806 in Greenbriar County, West Virginia.1 Anna's father was Jr. Dilley John and her mother was Elizabeth Ackland aka Eckland. Her paternal grandparents were Sr. Dilley John and Catherine Himpin; her maternal grandfather was Christian Ackland aka Eckland. She had five brothers and five sisters, named Joseph A, Barnett, James, Abner, Bird, Hannah, Peninah, Elizabeth, Catherine and Diana. She was the sixth oldest of the eleven children.
Anna and John were married in a religious ceremony on June 5th, 1823 in Lawrence County, Ohio.1 They had four sons and six daughters, named William, Lewis, Charles, John, Melvina, Permina, Polly, Minerva, Catherine and Nancy Jane.
