‌John and Anna were married in a religious ceremony on June 5th, 1823 in Lawrence County, Ohio.¹   They had four sons and six daughters, named William, Lewis, Charles, John, Melvina, Permina, Polly, Minerva, Catherine and Nancy Jane.
