William Hannibal Tipton 
William Hannibal was born in 1772 in Fredrick Co. VA. William Hannibal's father was Major Jonathon Tipton and his mother was Frances Perlina Daughtery. His paternal grandparents were Jonathan Tipton and Elizabeth (Adams) Edwards; his maternal grandfather was John Daughtery. He had six brothers and two sisters, named John, Samuel, Jonathan, David, Wiley, Jacob, Mary and Hannah. He was the third oldest of the nine children. He had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Joseph, Kennedy, Lavinia, Ellendor and Elizabeth. He died at the age of 85 on August 24th, 1857 in Estil Co,KY.General Notes
