Mary Tipton 
Mary was born about 1773. Mary's father was Major Jonathon Tipton and her mother was Frances Perlina Daughtery. Her paternal grandparents were Jonathan Tipton and Elizabeth (Adams) Edwards; her maternal grandfather was John Daughtery. She had seven brothers and a sister, named John, Samuel, William Hannibal, Jonathan, David, Wiley, Jacob and Hannah. She was the fourth oldest of the nine children. She had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Joseph, Kennedy, Lavinia, Ellendor and Elizabeth. She died about 1840.-
