Jonathan Tipton 
Jonathan was born on March 25th, 1699 in Frederick Co VA. Jonathan's father was Jonathan Tipton and his mother was Sarah Pearce. His paternal grandparents were Edward Tipton and Anna Phillips; his maternal grandparents were William Pearce and Elizabeth Anderson. He had three brothers named Thomas, William and John. He was the second youngest of the four children. He died at the age of 80 in 1779 in TN.General Notes
