Samuel Tipton 
Samuel was born in 1772 in VA. Samuel's father was Major Jonathon Tipton and his mother was Frances Perlina Daughtery. His paternal grandparents were Jonathan Tipton and Elizabeth (Adams) Edwards; his maternal grandfather was John Daughtery. He had six brothers and two sisters, named John, William Hannibal, Jonathan, David, Wiley, Jacob, Mary and Hannah. He was the second oldest of the nine children. He had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Joseph, Kennedy, Lavinia, Ellendor and Elizabeth. He died at the age of 89 on March 7th, 1861 in Estil Co,KY.-
