Henry de was born in 1235 in Of, Bergavenny, Norolkf, England and his baptism took place in Also Of, Ashill, Norfolk, England.1 Henry de's father was Henry HASTINGS and his mother was Ada SCOTT. His paternal grandparents were William de Hastings and Margaret le Bigod; his maternal grandparents were David SCOTT and Maud SCOTT. He had three sisters named Ida De, Margaret and Eleanor (Hillaria). He was the second youngest of the four children. He died about 1268. He was buried in Grey Frier's, Coventry, Warwickshire, England.1 1 General Notes
