Maud de was born about 1114 in Of, Leicester, Leicestershire, England.1 Maud de's father was Robert de BEAUMONT and her mother was Elizabeth (de Vermandois) Capet. Her paternal grandparents were Roger de BEAUMONT and Adeliza (Adeline) MEULENT; her maternal grandparents were Hugh Capet and Adelle (Adelaide) de VERMANDOIS. She had three brothers and six sisters, named Robert II de, Waleran de, Hugh de, Isabel (Elizabeth) de, Aubreye de, Adelina de, Agnes de, Havoise De and Amicade de. She was the youngest of the ten children. She had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Reynald de, Ralph de, William III de, Gundred de and Ada de. She died after 1189.1 General Notes
