Ada de was born in 1120 in Of, Huntingdon, Huntingdon, England.1 Ada de's father was William II de WARENNE and her mother was Elizabeth (de Vermandois) Capet. Her paternal grandparents were William I de Warenne and Gundrada de Flanders; her maternal grandparents were Hugh Capet and Adelle (Adelaide) de VERMANDOIS. She had three brothers and a sister, named Reynald de, Ralph de, William III de and Gundred de. She was the youngest of the five children. She had three half-brothers and seven half-sisters, named Robert II de, Waleran de, Hugh de, Isabel (Elizabeth) de, Aubreye de, Adelina de, Agnes de, Havoise De, Amicade de and Maud de. She died at the age of 58 in 1178.1 General Notes
