Vladimir I was born about 0956 in Kiev, Ukraine.1 Vladimir I's father was Svyatoslav I Igorevich and his mother was Concubine Maloucha. His paternal grandparents were Igor Rurikivich and of Kiev St Olga; his maternal grandfather was Malk of Lubech. He was an only child. He died on July 15th, 1015 in ,Berestow, Russia. He was buried in Church Of The Tithes, Kiev, Ukraine.1 1 General Notes
