William I de was born in 1055 in Bellencombre, Seine-Maritime, France.1 William I de's father was Rudolph de Warenne and his mother was Emma (Beatrice) de Warenne. His paternal grandparents were Rudulph de Warenne and Beatrix de Vascoeuil; his maternal grandmother was Daughter de Crepon. He had a brother named Ralph de. He was the younger of the two children. He died at the age of 33 on June 24th, 1088 in ,Lewes, Sussex, England. He was buried in Priory Of Lewes, Lewes, Sussex, England.1 1 General Notes
