Peter Yoakley

Peter was born in 1829 in Sullivan County, Tennessee.¹   Peter's father was Peter Yoakley and his mother was Rachel Canole.  His paternal grandfather was John Yoakley. He had four brothers and five sisters, named John, Charles, Thomas, Ednemon, Permelia, Elizabeth, Mary Ann, Nancy Ann and Rachel.  He was the second youngest of the ten children.  He died at the age of 68 in 1897.¹
