John Yoakley

John was born in 1810 in Sullivan County, Tennessee.¹   John's father was Peter Yoakley and his mother was Rachel Canole.  His paternal grandfather was John Yoakley. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Charles, Thomas, Ednemon, Peter, Permelia, Elizabeth, Mary Ann, Nancy Ann and Rachel.  He was the second oldest of the ten children.  He died at the age of 82 in 1892.¹
