Martha Whitaker 
Martha was born on January 21st, 1785 in ,,NC.1 Martha's father was John Whitaker and her mother was Christian Benton. Her paternal grandparents were Richard Whitaker and Elizabeth Cary; her maternal grandfather was Absalom Benton. She had seven brothers and two sisters, named Eli Benton, James, Richard, John, Cary, Absalom Benton, Wilson Cary, Elizabeth and Margaret Green. She was the fourth youngest of the ten children. She died at the age of 38 on May 7th, 1823.1 -
