Isaac Smith

Isaac was born in 1828 in Washington County, Virginia.¹ Isaac's father was Isaac Smith and his mother was Matilda Elliott. His paternal grandparents were Ephraim Smith and Alice Baker. He had a brother and four sisters, named Smith, Catherine, Alice, Minerva and Elizabeth. He was the second youngest of the six children. He had six half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Edward, Baker, Alfred, Robert, Parris, George, Martha, Harriet and Nancy.
