Edward Smith

Edward was born in 1838 in Washington County, Virginia.¹   Edward's father was Isaac Smith and his mother was Sarah.  His paternal grandparents were Ephraim Smith and Alice Baker. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Baker, Alfred, Robert, Parris, George, Martha, Harriet and Nancy.  He was the oldest of the nine children. He had two half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Smith, Isaac, Catherine, Alice, Minerva and Elizabeth.  He died at the age of 76 on November 21st, 1914 in Scott County, Virginia.¹
