Mary Or Polly Simmons

Mary Or Polly was born in 1789 in ,,Virginia.¹   Mary Or Polly's father was James Simmons and her mother was Elizabeth Gillenwaters.  Her maternal grandparents were Thomas Gillenwater and Martha. She had three brothers and four sisters, named John, Thomas, James G., Nancy, Elizabeth, Frances and Rachel.  She was the oldest of the eight children.  She died before 1847 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.¹
