Frances Simmons

Frances was born in 1800 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.¹ Frances' father was James Simmons and her mother was Elizabeth Gillenwaters. Her maternal grandparents were Thomas Gillenwater and Martha. She had three brothers and four sisters, named John, Thomas, James G., Mary Or Polly, Nancy, Elizabeth and Rachel. She was the third youngest of the eight children.
