James R. Shehorn 
James R. was born in November 1874 in ,Wayne, Illinois.1 James R.'s father was Benjamin Franklin Shehorn and his mother was Angeline Leister. His paternal grandparents were George Daniel Shehorn and Emily Harrison James; his maternal grandparents were John Leister and Anna J. Rush. He had six brothers and eight sisters, named Andrew Jackson, George W., Thomas Jefferson, Charles F., Francis M., Benjamin Arthur, Emily Jane, Marinda A., Mary Ann, Elizabeth Frances, Amanda Matilda, Lillie, Millie and Melinda Agnes. He was the seventh youngest of the fifteen children. He died at the age of 2 on December 12th, 1876 in ,Wayne, Illinois. He was buried in Bailey Cemetary, Wayne, Illinois.1 1 -
