Benjamin Franklin was born on December 23rd, 1841 in ,Sumner Or Macon, Tennessee.1 Benjamin Franklin's father was George Daniel Shehorn and his mother was Emily Harrison James. His paternal grandparents were John Shehorn and Crissy Cato; his maternal grandfather was Sidney James. He had eight brothers and four sisters, named George Washington, William Harrison, James W., Andrew Jackson, Giles Harrison, Isaac S., Ambrose Daniel, John Shirley, Martha A., Elmira J., Catherine F. and Sarah Margaret. He was the sixth oldest of the thirteen children. He had a half-brother named Joseph L.. He died at the age of 70 on May 7th, 1912 in ,Wayne, Tennessee. He was buried in Bailey Cemetary, Hickory Hill Twp, Wayne, Illinois.1 1 -
