Emily Jane Shehorn 
Emily Jane was born on October 15th, 1862 in ,Wayne, Illinois.1 Emily Jane's father was Benjamin Franklin Shehorn and her mother was Angeline Leister. Her paternal grandparents were George Daniel Shehorn and Emily Harrison James; her maternal grandparents were John Leister and Anna J. Rush. She had seven brothers and seven sisters, named Andrew Jackson, George W., Thomas Jefferson, Charles F., Francis M., James R., Benjamin Arthur, Marinda A., Mary Ann, Elizabeth Frances, Amanda Matilda, Lillie, Millie and Melinda Agnes. She was the oldest of the fifteen children. She died at the age of 20 on October 12th, 1883 in ,Wayne, Illinois.1 -
