James M. Scism

James M. was born in 1863 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.¹   James M.'s father was James M. Scism and his mother was Anna Skelton.  His paternal grandparents were William Scism and Elizabeth Duncan; his maternal grandfather was Reuben Skelton. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Reuben, John, Sarah, Mary, Nancy and Elizabeth.  He was the youngest of the seven children.
