Elizabeth Scism

Elizabeth was born in 1858 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.¹   Elizabeth's father was James M. Scism and her mother was Anna Skelton.  Her paternal grandparents were William Scism and Elizabeth Duncan; her maternal grandfather was Reuben Skelton. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Reuben, John, James M., Sarah, Mary and Nancy.  She was the third youngest of the seven children.
