Berryman Scalf

Berryman was born in 1808 in Of, Hawkins, Tennessee.¹   Berryman's father was John Scalf and his mother was Edead Edeah Carlisle.  His paternal grandfather was Lewis Scalf. He had nine brothers and six sisters, named John, William, Britton, William, Ira, Lee, Jesse, Peter, Robert, Mary, Nancy, Dicey, Lydia, Elizabeth and Cecelia.  He was the eighth youngest of the sixteen children.  He died after 1880 in Of, Hawkins, Tennessee.¹
