His paternal grandparents were Marcus Alexander Sappington and Albina T. Parr; his maternal grandparents were Joe Loving and Rigger. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Albert Alexander, James Harmon, Frank, Homer Lee, Etta Elizabeth "Lizzie", Willie Mae Kay, Mable, Ruby Neaoma, Artie Albina and Eula Faye. He had a half-brother and three half-sisters, named David Walter, Daisy Mae, Laura Mae and Myrtle. He died on October 21st, 1918 in Montague, Montague Co., TX.1 -
