Sr Parr Turner was born about 1798 in Lincoln County, NC.1 Sr Parr Turner's father was John Parr and his mother was Mary "Polly" Bynum. His paternal grandparents were Sr Parr William and Mary Bush; his maternal grandparents were Samuel Bynum and UNKNOWN Elizabeth. He had five brothers and three sisters, named William, Jr Parr, James C., Moses, Zebulon, Eliza, Mary and Susannah. He was the fourth youngest of the nine children. He died on March 31st, 1849 in Taney, MO..1 -
