John "Jack" Sappington 
John "Jack" was born on September 3rd, 1753 in Sassafras River, Cecil Co., MD.1 John "Jack"'s father was John Sappington and his mother was UNKNOWN Margaret. His paternal grandparents were Nathaniel Sappington and Margaret Hartley. He had five half-brothers and two half-sisters, named James, Hartley, Richard, Sylvester, Richard, Elizabeth and Patience. He died at the age of 62 on September 10th, 1815 in Crestwood, St. Louis Co., MO.1 General Notes
