Laura Mae was born on August 30th, 1926 in Montague, Montague Co., TX.1 Laura Mae's father was Thomas William Sappington and her mother was Zora Thompson. Her paternal grandparents were Marcus Alexander Sappington and Albina T. Parr. She had a brother and two sisters, named David Walter, Daisy Mae and Myrtle. She had five half-brothers and six half-sisters, named Albert Alexander, James Harmon, Woodroe, Frank, Homer Lee, Etta Elizabeth "Lizzie", Willie Mae Kay, Mable, Ruby Neaoma, Artie Albina and Eula Faye. She died at the age of 59 on January 6th, 1986 in Corvallis, Benton Co., OR.1 -
