James Harper Parr 
James Harper was born in January 1824 in TN.1 James Harper's father was Sr Parr Turner Berryman and his mother was Martha C. George. His paternal grandparents were John Parr and Mary "Polly" Bynum; his maternal grandparents were Jesse George and Phebe George. He had six brothers and four sisters, named John Overton, Jesse Carson, Archibald Jackson, Zeno Harris, Presely Osborn, Jr Parr Turner, Mary Elizbeth, Lucinda Elmira, Martha M. and Albina T.. He had a half-sister named Albina T. He died at the age of 81 on December 20th, 1905 in Erath county, Texas.1 -
