Archibald Jackson was born on April 23rd, 1826 in Lincoln CO., TN.1 Archibald Jackson's father was Sr Parr Turner Berryman and his mother was Martha C. George. His paternal grandparents were John Parr and Mary "Polly" Bynum; his maternal grandparents were Jesse George and Phebe George. He had six brothers and four sisters, named John Overton, Jesse Carson, James Harper, Zeno Harris, Presely Osborn, Jr Parr Turner, Mary Elizbeth, Lucinda Elmira, Martha M. and Albina T.. He had a half-sister named Albina T. He died at the age of 47 on May 22nd, 1873 in Washington, AK/Mt. Comfort cem. w. Fayetville.1 General Notes

He served in the Civil War. He was in the 14th Mitchells-Powers Arkansas
Infantry. At the time of his enlistment he was living Washington County,
Arkansasnear the Prairie Grove Community. He returned to his home after
the war a broken man. Due to all the hardships, he died in 1873 leaving a
