David Mauk

David was born in 1839 in Of Sullivan County, Tennessee.¹   David's father was Henry Mauk and his mother was Margaret Latture.  His paternal grandparents were Andrew Mauk and Elizabeth Bowles; his maternal grandparents were Harmon Latture and Agnes Boles. He had seven brothers and five sisters, named Samuel, John, William, Henry, James, Sarah, Joseph, Enoch Tennessee, Elizabeth, Nancy A., Louisiana and Mary.  He was the youngest of the thirteen children.  He died at the age of 31 in 1870.¹
