Robert D. Lipe

Robert D. was born on September 22nd, 1843 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.¹   Robert D.'s father was William Lipe and his mother was Frances.  His paternal grandparents were Daniel Lipe and Elizabeth. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Joseph, Daniel F., William Eldridge, Rufus, Francis D., George, Elizabeth Jane, Mary Ann and Laura.  He was the youngest of the ten children.
